For 40 years we have taken pride in the services we
provide along with our ongoing community support.
We value you- our customers, your families and the
community in which we all live. English joins our
customers in as many community events, fundraisers
and sports activities as possible, but we want to
take it a step further.
We have started the English Customer Education Fund
to let our customers know that helping your children
further their education is important to us. With
this program it will allow the English Septic family
(including all of you) to provide scholarships to
students to accomplish what they might not have been
able to without it. We believe that this is
best achieved with community involvement. The
English Customer Education Fund is set up primary
for those children who have worked hard, stayed on
track with their goals, and who are affiliated English
clients.
Qualifying Factors
» You must be a donating customer/affiliate of English Septic or Pro Rock Construction
» You must be a New Jersey Resident
» You must have at least a 3.0 GPA during your last year of school
» You must supply 2 letters of recommendation
» You must be explain how your education and goals will benefit the community at large
» You must write a 100 word essay explaining why you qualify for this scholarship
Upon completion, you can submit the application online
or print and mail the paper work. Submit
the application and supporting documentation to Jamie
Pepper, Attention: Customer Education Fund, 1082 West
Parsonage Rd. Seabrook, NJ 08302.
Once received,
the application will go to the review board. The board
will review all applications and judge them according
to the qualifications presented.
Applications must be received by April 1 of each year
to be considered for the Fall semester.
Donations - Contributions
All donations made to the English Education Fund
are deposited into a scholarship account. Donations
can be made in two ways. You can donate directly
to the account either online or at our office. You
can also donate any discounts you receive for
services. For example, if you receive $20
off a septic pumping you can elect to direct the
discount to the scholarship fund.
Provided
you have donated or contributed your discount
during the 12 months preceding the scholarship
selection, you or a family member are eligible
to apply for one of these scholarships.
Initially, the board anticipates selecting two
qualifying recipients. Each scholarship
will be $1,000. As the fund grows,
so will the number of scholarships awarded. All
funds are intended to help students further their
education and all proceeds will go directly to
that cause. With the cost of education increasing
every year programs like these are not only helpful,
but a necessity.
